A frontline Hero’s Unimaginable loss

Gloria lost her beloved mother to covid a month ago . While she was trying to
arrange for her Mom’s funeral
services, her husband and 2 children fell
ill and were hospitalized due severe
covid symptoms.  Her children are now
home recuperating. Unfortunately her
husband had to be transferred to ICU.

Gloria is a hardworking and dedicated
nurse for almost 30 years.  Gloria was
working in her covid unit as a charge
nurse at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center
for 8 months until her mother succumbed
to Covid-19.  Last night Gloria lost her
husband, Napoleon Leyesa to covid as well. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he took his last breaths.

Gloria’s commitment and dedication to
her covid patients is immeasurable.  
She is a frontline nurse. A modern day
hero during these unprecedented times.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated .  She is out of Paid time off and sick leave.
