Give her a Liver 5k is a fundraiser walk/run/bike or stroller pushing moms and dads for Marina Maldonado who is in need of her 2nd liver transplant, while battling Lupus and Auto Immune Hepatitis .
Marina was currently admitted to Boston Hospital with a full body infection and liver failure. She is struggling to get health insurance and will not be able to work until she faces the long road to recovery from her transplant. She is RH negative so to find a donor will challenging.
For anyone who is unable to join us in the 5k, you are able to make donations from this site. All proceeds go directly to Marina. For any more information or to let us know how many will be attending please contact [email redacted].
So Lace up and join us at the West Fort Ann Fire House (Joe Green Road Fort Ann, NY) at 9:30 am on 9/6/14 for a fun and family oriented local 5k road race. Entry fee is $35. for adults and $20. for kids.
The faster you get to the finish line, the faster you can join us for a BBQ, bake sale, ice cream stand, live music, DJ and a silent auction.
