Renovate Schools in Africa

My name is Tanisha Mugwimi. I am 17 years old and have grown up in the United States, and as a result, I have had access to some of the best schools in the world. Children in the village where my dad is from are not so lucky. In  Kirinyaga County in Kenya, Githure Primary school teaches children 6 to 13 years of age in grades kindergarden to 8th grade. Each grade takes up one classroom and this is primarily where they spend their school day. What these kids need is a professional environment that mirrors the environments they are expected to create as the grow older and develop the nation of Kenya. Our aim is to renovate classrooms. This will entail putting in a new cement floor and paint, putting new windows and doors and then having about 25 new desks and chairs made locally by village carpenters. With your help we can accomplish this and move past this to reinvorgorate an entireschool.
