About three weeks ago, our lives took a turn into a direction none of us saw coming. As some of you might know, our cousin Gino was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
A cancer diagnosis is scary and shocking for any family, especially when the individual is only 23 years old. Gino has been strong and positive and has successfully completed his first of many rounds of chemotherapy. However, he still has a long road ahead of him.
As much as you can prepare for things in life to be thrown your way, you can never really prepare yourself for facing a battle such as this. Cancer comes with an unthinkable amount of medical bills from treatments, tests, long hospital stays and doctor visits and weeks off from work. Just a little help will ease the stress of bills, leaving our family more time to focus on Gino's health and recovery.
