Kelsey Gibson’s Car Accident Recovery

Kelsey was involved in a very serious car accident in the early morning of September 19.  She was the passenger of the car, both the driver and the other car’s occupant were not injured. Upon impact, she was ejected from the car. Sustaining severe injuries all over her body; broken ribs, punctured lung, deep cuts on her head and body, broken nose, lacerations to her liver and kidney, severe road rash on her face and body and a massive leg wound.  She is currently being intubated and is heavily sedated in the ICU. She is in critical condition.

Kelsey works in the service industry and with that comes no medical insurance.  This is the very beginning of a long road ahead, physically and financially. Any monetary donation matters and every dollar received will be humbly accepted with grace.

Kelsey is originally from Utah and was living in Pennsylvania without family. She will eventually need help transitioning from her life in PA back to her home and family in Utah.  Her parents, Mike and Tammy, have purchased one-way tickets to be by her side. Her younger brother Ryan is living in Costa Rica. And I am her older sister, Halley, I will be staying in Utah to take care of things while my family is away.

I understand that not everyone is in a financial position to help. Just know that every dollar and every single person this is shared with will make a difference. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of medical bills and well as her eventual relocation to Utah and any other future medical interventions needed.
