Hi, I’m Anjie, and I’m proud to be Taiza Bai McDonald’s aunt. Taiza is one of the most resilient, kind-hearted people I know, and she’s faced years of undiagnosed health challenges with incredible strength. It breaks my heart to see her go through so much without answers, but her determination inspires me every day.
I’m creating this fundraiser because Taiza has been given a life-changing opportunity to participate in a trial at the Mayo Clinic starting in February. This could finally bring the answers she’s been seeking, but the costs of travel, lodging, and medical care are more than she can manage on her own and limited insurance.
Your donations will go directly toward:
- Travel expenses to and from the Mayo Clinic
- Lodging and meals during her stay
- Medical costs and follow-up care not covered by insurance
- Any unforeseen expenses related to her care
