George Seremba Fundraiser

George Seremba is an amazing intellect, and enormous writing talent. His play Come Good Rain was about his experiences as an activist student in Uganda, who escaped a death squad by a complete miracle. Shot and left for dead, a young boy found him the next morning, and brought him to safety.

He then came to Canada and became a beloved part of the theatre, film and television community, working all across the country. In Ireland he earned his PhD, and he was teaching at a University in Cleveland when he was faced with a new challenge.

Recently George was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. And like that young boy who found him in the forest, we, in his our of great need, can help him.

Because of the high costs of health care in America, he will need help to 1) Provide accommodation for a possible kidney donor. 2) Pay for post operation medical procedures and medication.

George has been waiting patiently for a kidney, and there is a possibility that he could find a donor this month. So time is of the essence. Please donate, any amount is welcome, so that George can get a new Kidney and continue his journey. Thank you so much for your help!
