Hi Everyone,
To give you a bit of background about me I am a singer/songwriter and music has always been my way of expression and my outlet, at the age of 12 after losing my soulmate, my mum, I turned to music as a way of understanding, reconciling and moving on with my life in a positive way. I knew in my heart that I wanted to be a singer/songwriter who could touch people with my music and connect with all the things people experience in life.
I first put my talent to good use singing in the school choir's and then drama productions, going on to win a few talent shows.
After researching and studying the ever changing music industry, I began honing my song - writing skills and developing my talent and total package, with music not only just being a dream of mine now but my goal that I was determined to achieve.
Every song for me is a story, deep but yet uplifting and leaving me wanting more.
Equipped with my Dictaphone for melodies, my iPOD for my inspiration and my pen and songwriting book for writing (my hits:) ... I was ready!
I've been extremely fortunate to work with some of the industry's leading producers, musicians and singers and it is really important for me to have a real connection and creative synergy with everyone I work with.
I am currently just finishing recording my album with songs I've written in Miami with a couple of the leading producers of the music world; David Frangioni who has worked with Aerosmith, Santana, Shakira, Sting, Ricky Martin, Rolling Stones and Sir Elton John to name a few. Pete Wallace who has worked with Pink, Jessica Simpson, Backstreet Boys, Billy Mann, Jon Secada and Julio Iglesias. I have had the honor of Jon Secada gracing one of my songs 'Stronger' soon to be released with his background vocals and to work with the likes of Mark Hudson (who has worked with Celine Dion, Bon Jovi, Cher, Ozzy Osbourne, Boyzone and Leann Rimes amongst his extensive list) and the legendary Rudy Perez (who has worked with Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Il Divo, Michael Bolton, & many others)
Music has always been my dream, which became my goal and I can't wait for it to become my reality :)
