Fareshare food delivery costs

Since the beginning of the initial lockdown, we at Gateshead Community Organisation have been trying to do whatever we can to help local families who have been struggling. As well as several side projects, we have ran a Fareshare Food Market service and have delivered food to many families across the area who have depended on a little extra help during the current pandemic. Starting in a small kitchen in a community hub, we have since expanded our market drastically, changing location to the lovely Gateshead Fell Cricket Club and added many more lovely families to our delivery list each week! We depend on volunteers and donations to sustain what we do and all we want is to be able to feed families in need whilst also facing perfectly edible food and resources from landfill! If you could spare even £1, that would make a huge difference in what we do and help us expand our market and other projects, reaching out to many more people in need.
