Gabe/Colleens baby steps 2 adoption

We are the family of Gabe and Colleen & we decided to start this page as an opportunity to help them on their path to find their child.  

Gabe and Colleen have been on this journey for many years. They have undergone various methods to try and conceive which left them broken hearted, broken down and with a feeling of defeat....until with the grace of God they found out they were expecting....twin boys!

July 22, 2014  we welcomed Asher and Bryce to our family. It was however that same night we had to say goodbye.  Due to complications during the pregnancy they would not grow to full term and Gabe and Colleen had to say goodbye to their hopes and dreams of a family.

We surrounded them with as much love and support as we could. We prayed to God that He would guide and protect them as they grieve….restore their faith and bring them to a place of hope again. 

Struggling with the loss, trying to keep the hope alive and sorting out the finances that they have invested in this process (having 2 more failed attempts at IVF) has left them broken hearted and having to face some really tough decisions.
  

In March of 2017 they shared with the family that they have decided to pursue adoption. This decision has brought the light and life back into their eyes again.  They refused to be defeated by the unsuccessful attempts, the sadness and the pain, but rather use it as their driving force to do what is necessary to complete their family and we couldn’t be more proud.

Gabe and Colleen both expressed to us that they will do whatever they need to do to make this a reality for themselves. They have renewed faith that God has a child for them. We thought it might just be nice to help ease the burden of the financial pains so they can focus on what’s really important; finding their baby. 

We know there are many, many people in their lives who love and support them on this journey and maybe are thinking, hmmm, what can I do to show my support or help them?  Well how about a donation to their adoption fund?  The sole purpose of this fund is to help offset some of the costs of the adoption process.
