<div>Gender Goals FC, founded in November 2023, proudly stands as Scotland's first football club run by and exclusively for trans and non-binary people. We exist to radically challenge footballing tradition by creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where trans and non-binary individuals can enjoy the beautiful game.

<div><strong>Trans joy is radical and trans joy is beautiful. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our manifesto is clear – to carve out a space where trans people can take their rightful place in sports. However, our team has grown to become so much more than a football club; it is a community where we uplift and support one another, especially in these challenging times for the trans community in the UK. Our club is dedicated to advocating for our community and sending the message that we can take up space, and that we are powerful and beautiful!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are committed to sustaining this invaluable space, but as a newly founded club run entirely by volunteers, the costs to keep it running are significant. This is where we need your help.

<div><strong>How Your Donations Will Help:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Inclusive Participation</strong>: Your support will enable us to continue offering training and games to our members on a pay-what-you-can basis, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from participating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Team Kit Bag</strong>: We aim to purchase a "kit bag" for the team, ensuring that all members who participate in league matches have access to the necessary gear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Online Store</strong>: We plan to launch an online store to sell our kits and merchandise to the general public, which will help raise funds and spread awareness of our club.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Training Equipment</strong>: We need additional equipment to enhance our training sessions, ensuring our members have the best resources to improve their skills.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To cover our training and league fees alone the cost is £7,000 annually. Your donations will be pivotal in helping us meet these expenses and continue providing a much-needed sanctuary for trans and non-binary individuals in sports.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are very blessed to be in our community here in Glasgow surrounded by generosity and love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support!

<div>"I’m new to GGFC, but already I can feel a huge increase in my sense of pride in my identity. As well as an opportunity to keep fit- the feeling of belonging to a community of trans and non-binary people has been pivotal for my mental health. GGFC has provided a place where I feel comfortable to be myself." - Anon

<div>"I'm really grateful for Gender Goals and having a space to be unapologetically myself no matter what that looks like and be around other trans people for one of the first times in my life" - Alex
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I joined Gender Goals through the Winter sessions with LEAP, and have loved every minute of being a part of the club since. Watching us build a community together, made up of people who really care for one another, and want to a foster a safe place for trans people to enjoy football, has been an absolute joy. There have been difficult times in my personal life in the past few months, and having Gender Goals has been such a saving grace for me. I love this club!” - Laurie

<div>“Gender Goals has been one of the most important factors in motivating me to become more active and confident in my pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. It has provided me with a safe space and strong community where I can thrive as a trans person where I otherwise might have been afraid to engage.” - Ashley

</div>
<div>“Gender goals is the first team I have joined since coming out 5 years ago. But for me it's as much about the people as it is about the game. I haven't had much luck with people in my life. But this club has given me friends, and that means the world to me.” - Louis

<div><br />
</div>
<div>“I came out as trans just after moving to Glasgow, so was in need of finding a supportive community to help me through both those changes, and I found that through Gender Goals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Wonderful football team who care about others, and have a family feel to it. Always feel safe and happy, and made some incredible friends who are on the same journey as me. Love GG forever! ❤️” - Harry

</div>
<div>“In times where it’s difficult to not be weighed down by the judgment about trans people and their place in society, Gender Goals has been a beacon of hope for me. GGFC is about more than just football; it’s about a place where you can belong and a place where, for me, lifelong connections have been built and nourished. It’s wonderful that we’re able to experience such joy and a sense of community when sometimes it feels like being trans is a constant battle to experience both. When I transitioned, I thought I had lost football forever, but in Gender Goals I find myself more involved in football than ever before and most importantly, I found myself a home” - Ryleigh

<div><br />
</div>
<div>“I was scared off from playing football a long time ago. Anytime I had a chance to play football it was usually with the most angriest of guys just shouting and swearing at each other.
</div>
<div>Gender Goals is completely different. It's fun, supportive and open to all (they say all abilities welcome and they mean it). They're always encouraging to all people.
</div>
<div>I get to just be myself and have fun.” - Luna
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“I've been out as trans for a few years but wasn't able to make friends with other trans people, and since coming out I wasn't motivated to do sports as they can be so gender segregated and alienating. Gender goals has let me find a community where I finally feel like I fit in and am supported and because of that i'm also the most active and healthy I've been in many years. Really love GG ” - Alé
