Help Build a School in Ghana

Global Education Network is working to raise $1500 for books, supplies, and desks to help start a school at the Bright Future Orphanage in the village of Asitey, Ghana.

Bright Future Orphanage is home to over 100 children between the ages of 4 and 18. Recently, the orphanage has committed to building a school for the children. With construction of the classroom buildings beginning soon, the orphanage is in need of the remaining essentials for the school: books, classroom supplies, and desks for the orphans. With your donation, we can help open a school for these children. We can do a lot with a little:

            77 cents will buy over 20 pieces of chalk.

            $4 will give story books to the children in the nursery.

            $25 will supply one desk for one student.

            $30 will put over 20 reading books in the kindergarten classroom.

            $150 will buy over 40 mathematics books to the third grade.
