Bob's uncovered medical expenses

A trip to the ER in April 2017 turned the Taylor family's (and everyone who loves them) life upside down. Bob was having tingling on one side and thought he might be having a stroke. The MRI showed a brain tumor. We were all shocked! After a few weeks of testing and brain surgery, he was dealt the worst blow, the tumor(s) are GBM (glioblastoma... the same type that Senator McCain has). The dr's said based on statistics/studies, Bob would have 9-12 months to live. What?! How can this be happening?! Fast forward to alot of appointments and opinions and research, Bob started radiation and chemo. The 1st round of radiation and chemo is done. Now we wait and see what the tests show and when the next round starts. We are praying that the statistics are not Bob's fate! Anyone who knows Bob, knows that nothing will take him away from his family without a huge fight and not only has he fought like crazy the past 5 months, he is keeping up the fight. Bob and Tammy found out about a trial where Bob wears a device (an Optune helmet) on his head for 22 hours a day and it may slow down the growth of the tumors. He was approved for it! Good news! They are also exploring other alternative options because GBM is so aggressive. The problem is that there is quite a bit of out of pocket expense. In addition, he is not able to work at full speed during treatment. So add that worry to Bob trying to find ways to help Tammy be prepared financially for a day that he may not be here... UFTA! UGH! Financial worries about treatment are stresses that Bob should not have to have during this fight for his life. Bob and Tammy have always been giving, loving and caring people and are also very proud of always being able to provide for themselves and their kids. However, I convinced them to let me set up this page because I, along with other family members, keep getting asked what can be done to help out.  So, on behalf of my sister (Tammy) and Bob, I created this gofundme page in the hopes of making it alot easier for friends and family to help. ANY help is MUCH appreciated!
