Just 2 Moms Autism Fundraiser

I met Jordan 15 years ago when I was interviewing for a job at a nearby The Little Gym. Like many autistic children he had a difficult time with change. So, when the time came to sing the "It's Time to Change" song to change stations Jordan flipped out and ran across the room and straight into a cheese wedge mat that was standing against the wall, bounced off and threw a minor tantrum. 15 years later and countless hours of classes later Jordan is in college and doing really well!
You see, Jordan followed me after I left The Little Gym and started a martial arts school with my childhood friend. He stayed, participated and grew as a person at our school for about 10 years. Throughout all of the time that he was a student of mine his mother & father, Debbie and Todd never balked at any of the methods I used to help Jordan learn how to cope when he got upset.
Debbie and Todd are amazing people and Debbie has tirelessly worked through the years to give Jordan the greatest chance at a "normal" life. Several years ago she started a company, www.just2moms.com, that helps to bring awareness and education about autism to the community.
Jordan left the school, due to a packed schedule, several years ago. This past December Debbie and Jordan stopped by to say hi and catch up. It was great to see them both and to hear about everything that Jordan has going on. While we were talking we got to the topic of fundraising and I offered to do one for her company.
I thought it would be a great idea to run a competition at our CrossFit Gym with the proceeds going to the Just 2 Moms organization. We are trying to generate some money to help us put on a huge event to help Debbie and her organization. We need supplies for the event, advertising and some additional equipment to support all of the people we are trying to get to come out.
Any help you can provide to make this a successful event will be greatly appreciated. Any money beyond what we need for equipment & supplies will be donated to Just 2 Moms.
