Funeral Expenses for Sherri Galea

The world lost someone very special yesterday. Sherri Galea.
Sherri was a young loving woman. She cared more for others, for animals, than for herself. She was enthusiastic about life. And her mission in life was to make sure every person and every animal was doing well. Had everything they needed. She truly lived in service of others. It’s a big loss.
Sherri leaves behind her husband, Joe, her 15 cats that she has rescued, and a host of clients. I was a client. Sherri was my housekeeper, my pet sitter and I was honored to become her friend.
Sherri was a young 53, going to be 54 this month, healthy. Busy! She was so excited for the Eagles in the Super Bowl. She had decorated the entire front of her house. On Friday last week, she was planning on going to the parade, before they even played.
Suddenly on Sunday morning, the morning of the Super Bowl, Joe comes home from working all night and finds Sherri on the kitchen floor. He believes she is dead. He calls 911. They get a pulse, after 30 minutes. Unbelievable since she was great, her normal self when he left her late in the afternoon the day before. Sherri died yesterday, February 5. The morning after the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Joe is in shock. This happened so fast, so unexpected. Her 15 cats are looking for her. But she’s not coming home.
Sherri and her husband worked very hard. Sherri did housecleaning and pet sitting, particularly for cats, she is passionate about cats. If a kitty was outside in the cold, Sherri would bring it in, no question. She loved her kitties – and she loved mine.
Even though they both worked hard, life was hard, expenses were high. They simply were not able to save. And now, Joe finds himself losing his wife, with no funds, no insurance and with a funeral service necessary and medical expenses from her last days.
So we are asking for help, any donation will help to pay for her final expenses, funeral costs are high and assist with any uninsured medical costs. Joe is really beside himself, not sure where to get the funds to handle this. He is so appreciative of anything anyone can do. Thank you very much for any donation you can make.
