Funeral Assistance-Trinidad Family

Update:  It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share that our father, Eddie, passed away this morning 9/9/18 at 8am.

We’ve started this page on behalf of the Trinidad Family to raise funds for funeral/burial costs for Edwardo Trinidad.  Below are a few words from his daughters:

Hello family and friends, at some point in our lives, most of us have been affected by cancer-either by a personal battle, or by helping a loved one with the disease. Unfortunately, our father, Edwardo Trinidad has been struggling with the unforgiving disease of stage 4 pancreatic and lung cancer. It has been extremely hard on us and our family. Besides the physical and emotional tolls, fighting cancer can be an enormous financial burden. That is why we have turned to you, our family and friends.

If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting our dad better known as Eddie, you know he is a loving and caring husband, father, and friend. He is always willing to help anyone in need and has the biggest heart. Our dad would do anything to see us happy. Nothing would make us happier than to give him what he deserves and needs during such a vulnerable time.

Our Dad has been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer which spread to his lungs. On August 29th, he was taking his routine morning walk when he took a nasty fall going up the stairs.  We took him to the Emergency Room to get checked out. The MRI came back showing the cancer had spread to his brain. He has seven tumors in his brain and one is swelling causing a lot of pressure. The doctors have only given him days to weeks to live. But we believe that only God can really say how much time we will be blessed to have him with us. He is a strong man and he will fight till the end. Watching him fight has been very hard for the entire family.

During this very difficult time, the Trinidad Family will need help spiritually and financially. His battle with cancer is extremely tough on everyone. He has always been so independent and it’s frustrating for him not being able to do the most basic things in life, such as feeding himself, going to the bathroom, brushing his teeth, and getting dressed. These are the things we all take for granted in life. This has opened up our eyes and sadly we will not have much time with him.

The money raised will go directly to our father’s funeral and burial costs. Please help in any way you can. We also ask you to please keep our family in your prayers during this very difficult time.  We appreciate your support!
