Hunter's CDH Funds

Donation protected
Hey everyone. First of all I want to thank you for considering making a donation for Hunter. Hunter has been diagnosed with CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia). CDH is when the diaphragm fails to form properly, allowing the lower intestines and organs to move up into the upper chest cavity. When this happens it can cause strain and under development to the upper organs. Survival rates depend on many different things. In Hunter's case we were given a 30-40% chance at first diagnosis. ------------------- Hunter was born on May 3rd at 36 weeks. He weighed 6lb 1oz. Later that night Hunter was air lifted to Childrens Medical Center in Dallas Texas. He had a leak in his lung and feared he would need ECMO. After Hunter arrived at CMC he started to do much better and didnt need the ECMO. Then Hunter had his hernia repair surgery. Two days later Hunter had two leaks in his lungs and hypertension crisis. He was then placed on ECMO (life support). The ecmo should give him time to rest and give him time to heal. The ECMO machine doesn't fix anything but buys the doctors time.
