Fund raiser for STG Sreekanth

On September 30th, 2020, our friend's father, Sreekanth STG, tested positive for COVID'19 virus. He was home quarentined the first week but was hospitalized after his condition suddenly deteriorated in the second week. Attempts were made to help his worsening condition by giving him Remdesivir and Tocilizumab, but were not successful. Convalescent plasma therapy helped to fight the virus to some extent but the damage caused to the lungs has been severe. As his health continues to decline due to severe Pulmonary Fibrosis, he has been placed on Incubator support (ventilator).

Over the last few weeks, Sreekanth has continued to fight for his life.
Sreekanth is known for his honesty, generosity and helping nature. A lot of his colleagues say he's the reason they have a job even during this pandemic.

Sreekanth's family have spent 2,100,000 INR by now (over and above the insurance cover) for his treatment. Due to the medical complications involved in treating the lungs, it is costing them around 200,000 INR per day. Our hope is to remove some of the financial burdens of medical bills they will incur from all the various procedures and an extended hospital stay.

Once Sreekanth is discharged he will have a long road to a complete recovery consisting of months of Physical and occupational therapy. Please consider supporting this family on Sreekanth’s road to recovery and let his family know they are not alone in this.
