Fuel Their Souls

Two non-profit organizations in Anne Arundel County, Storm Chasers Field Hockey Club and the Bay Hills Swim Team, have teamed up to raise money in support of the staff who support the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) COVID-19 testing sites throughout Maryland.  

The state has converted several VEIP stations into drive-through COVID-19 testing sites. The drive-through model provides convenient and safe means for Maryland residents to receive a COVID-19 test without needing to leave the comfort of their cars. Each site is staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare workers, law enforcement officers, Maryland National Guard soldiers, and county and state employees. With the help of these teams, Maryland has been able to quickly expand its testing capabilities, which are an essential part of our recovery. 

The women and men who staff these testing sites are shining examples of the Healthcare Heroes who have committed to making our communities safer for all. In return, we’d like to make the time that they spend in our service just a little more comfortable.

We have a simple goal: to provide a meal from a local restaurant once a week for the staff serving at each VEIP COVID-19 testing site.

Please help us reach our goal of $12,000! 100% of donations will go towards supporting the staff at the following VEIP COVID-19 testing locations statewide:
