Fernando's Hernia Recovery Costs

Fernando is my husband. He's been our main provider since we moved to Oklahoma 2 years ago. He's worked 16+ hour days and put up with a lot of physical demand. Prior to living here we were in Ca where he was recovering from a previous work injury. It took almost 2 years for him to return to work. Having an inguinal hernia has been debilitating for him and us. He's been to several ERs where all they do is push it back in and send him home with Norco(which he never fills because it aggravates his PTSD). He's seen several charities and has 2 current General Surgery referrals to OU. That was 2 weeks ago. Today OU surgery clinic informed us they still don't have his referrals and even if they did they won't do his surgery before May. On Jan 19th his Dr told him he was concerned of gangrene in his scrotum. But yet still no surgery scheduled! At anytime he could have this hernia drop, causing strangulation to his testicle and get sepsis from the lack of care. The only option to get his surgery sooner is through a cash pay surgery center. The cheapest one we can find in OK is Surgery Center of Oklahoma which is $3k all inclusive(updated to $6k since he's been off work for a month). Due the date of surgery. We've both worked for several employers who have a slew of doctor friends but we can't find any doctor willing to help us with the surgery. All money raised on this campaign will go directly to the surgery center till the fee is paid. Any additional funds will help support our family costs that are pilling up since he stopped working a little over 3 weeks ago. We've had several family friends help us with cell phone bills and utility rentals and other basics during this time. We just need him repaired so he can get back to being a fully functioning 46 year old man of the house! He's a super athletic man and can work a regular 50 hour work week but not until this is fixed. Please help if you can. 100 donations of $30 can pay for this surgery. Please help. We can make arrangements to pay back or work it off. He is a chef and can cook dinner for you and your family anytime. And I'm down to babysit, clean, work, whatever! Please help us out. Thank you.
