Miguels' Recovery Fund

On Sunday December 11th, Miguel Casillas was shot in the head while working as a security guard in East Los Angeles.  Armed Robbers descended upon his place of work and in a cowardly act shot him while he was reaching for his weapon to defend himself.

He was rushed to emergency surgery and thanks to the fast and dedicated work of first responders, and ER surgeons he miraculously survived the night. He is not out of the woods yet and is currently recovering at the Hospital

Miguel is a proud Father, Husband, Son, Brother, and Cousin. His family is struggling with this tragedy and is doing everything in their power to support Miguel in these dark times.

However the struggles that lay ahead of both Miguel and his Family are many, and great. If he pulls through (and we know he will he is so strong!) he faces a long road to recovery. This will include many treatments, and various forms of physical therapy.  With these treatments come monumental financial costs and strains upon his family. They are doing the best they can however in this time of need we are humbly asking for help from all our friends and loved ones!

Miguel Casillas is one of the brightest, happiest, most loving individuals I have ever known, and could not be less deserving of such a cruel tragedy. He deserves our help and we are willing to do whatever it takes to help him get better.
