My Bahamian Friends Need help!

As some of you may already know that my favourite place in the world is Freeport, Bahamas. I have never seen a place more beautiful and where the people are as kind, generous, and giving as the Bahamian people. Each time I travel there I fall in love with it more and more. The day I stepped foot in Freeport I knew it was my special place, so much so, that I have been planning to live there part time when I retire.
The friends that I have made there over the years are like no other. They opened their homes to me and my friends each time I go to the island. I just was there visiting this past July and already have my trip book for March Break (which I'm not sure is possible at this time) due to Hurricane Dorian.
Dorian battered the Bahamas with high winds and rain for more than two days!! It was stationary over the island as a CAT 5 for almost 30 hours. The devastation there is extensive. Almost 70 percent of Grand Bahama Island was under water. The Abaco Islands ...destroyed. So incredibly sad.
My friends have lost everything. I feel helpless being so far away and not being able to lend a hand. So here I am asking for help...the one thing I don't do well at all. I need your help so that I can help my friends.
100% of the funds raised will be going to help my friend Tory Simmons and his best friend Aleksandra Gardiner and her two children. Tory's home was completely destroyed he lost everything. The funds will be going to help to rebuild his home and to purchase clothing and other necessities for her two beautiful children. Help me make a difference in the lives of friends who have brought so much joy to me.
