I actually need $10,000.00 all together but I know its hard. I have sacrificed everything for justice and hit rock bottom.
Since I was 13 I have been trying to find the truth that will set my family free, I am now 47. I not only found the truth but I have found strength and salvation to rebuild what our system has torn down. I am having DNA tested for my brother as well as trying to get him time served through a commutation. However we don't have the money.
Just this past 7 months, tracked down 3 original jury members from 1983 that say the whole jury believed he was innocent, put together a commutation packet on my own( for the lawyer)
I have 35 letters and 40 petitions signed with addresses and phone numbers as well as a phycologist PRO-BONO for when he is freed, prison reform a job and a loving home with his wife.
I have a counsoler representing him at his public hearing if they feel my case holds merit and I need to pay her $6,000.00 up front. I have no idea how much it will all total but at least I can start here and pray for the best. I am writting a novel on the experiences that the Lord has graced me with in order to free my brother and my family from this horrible loss of 35 years.
I have some work coming in for an occasional paint job but I have to stay focused on this while living of of 1,800 dollars for 3 months...Poverty level,time is of the essence.
My music, my relationship, my home, my job and everything around me has been sacrificed for my brothers /our freedom, and I am asking for a small donation to help my family who has lost our home to a fire and gone broke 10 times over already at an all time low along with losing HOPE, FAITH and Happiness. There is a little light at the end of the tunnel for him and this IS his only chance. Please Help! God Bless you so much and Thank you with all of my heart. I only have 2 months to get this done before it's to late due to the deadline in the system for doing commutations.
When this is done we are going to move forward with helping other cold cases that will free other innocent people and return them to thier families.
