Francis House, Inc. is a
non-profit charity formed in 1990 in Tampa, Florida to help address the needs
of the HIV community. For 23 years Francis House has been serving the
community with compassion and dignity.
Now...it's time to grow!
Francis House is expanding with the building of the new Carlos Alvarez
Annex - a new facility on our existing land that will help us expand our
programs and provide higher quality service to larger numbers of people infected
with HIV. Carlos was a pioneer client advocate that worked with local
AIDS Service Organizations to empower clients to take an active role in their
care and treatment. Although Carlos is no longer with
us, succumbing to his battle with HIV/AIDS, this building will be
a monument to his compassion and dedication in serving the HIV
community.
Francis House's services
are designed to encourage and empower those affected to become self-sufficient
