<div>In the heart of Gaza, amid what humanitarian agencies describe as “a graveyard for thousands of children and hell for everyone else,” lies the story of resilience, love and the undying spirit of my family. I'm Shahd Sehweil with the help of my mother Rana, we are raising funds to help facilitate the evacuation of my family stuck in Gaza.

<div>My family was displaced from their homes in northern Gaza when the first evacuation orders were issued in early October. Since then, they have been trapped in a fierce struggle for survival. Overnight, their peaceful life was shattered. Their daily activities at work and school have been replaced by a relentless search for basic necessities – food, water and shelter – for themselves and their children. Their children range in age from 6 months to 18 years old. Can you imagine having to teach your toddler to ration their food and water?

<div>Like many others, we have lost 20 of our loved ones and we are afraid of losing more, so we hope for your help so that my family will be safe.

<div>Also my family lost their small business (pharmacy) and their homes were destroyed and they had to move several times to escape the escalation of violence. They now live in a world where famine is used as a weapon of war. A world where there is no safe place for civilians to take refuge.
