We are asking our Midnight Market supporters to help us raise money in order to subsidize our beloved Food Vendors for the remaining 2020 season. #SmallBusinessRelief
Midnight Market is dependent upon a thriving small business community. Without our Food Vendors, it is impossible to create the same magic the community has enjoyed for the past three years.
The world of food festivals is complex:
Festival Food Vendors and their employees rely exclusively on events in order to earn money. Equally, Event Organizers rely on the participation fees that Food Vendors pay in order to cover the costs of hosting the event (such as venue rental, staffing, cost of permits, etc.). It's a delicate ecosystem.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown, events have been cancelled for spring as well as summer. As a result, Food Vendors and Organizers have taken a tremendous financial hit. This creates a domino effect. Without a full season of events, Food Vendors are not bringing in the money they need in order to participate in future events. This means that Event Organizers will not have the seed money they need from the participation fees and cannot plan the future events Food Vendors need to earn money.
Your donation will take the burden off of these small businesses and allow them the opportunity to get back to business without putting themselves into further debt.

What is Midnight Market ?
Midnight Market is NJ and NY's first 21+ indoor food festival.
Our events bring together 2,000 guests from the NYC and Northern NJ area on a Friday night. The events highlight over 15 local food vendors who serve "small bites for a small price" so that guests can enjoy an exciting foodie experience. In addition to innovative and delicious food, Midnight Market features local DJs and bars to create a nightlife atmosphere. These events are hosted eight(8) - ten(10) times a year in Jersey City & Brooklyn.
Midnight Market has established itself as an important is a launchpad in the community for new chefs and a small business incubator for new food concepts.
Midnight Market is entering its fourth year in business and would love to continue supporting the food community in NJ and NY. We've brought many innovative events to the tri-state area and with your help, we'll continue to host foodie festivals through 2020!
