Dear Angel Investors,
Many of you are already such strong supporters of our cause of microeconomic development through female empowerment & may even own one of our nationally recognized "Flying Scarfs." In the past year we've traveled to Afghanistan, Haiti and are now planning on a trip to Kenya in July. Our aim is to take this model of "social business," and bring it to every corner of the world where there is economic collapse, natural disaster, conflict or strife. It is our sincere hope that we can make a difference and aspire towards living in a world without poverty.
This summer Team Flying Scarfs will be providing a business blue print for orphans who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and are themselves infected. The older women in this community where we will be working, sew garments for the children and are capable of making items that will be a great addition to our online marketplace.
