In November I auditioned for a summer abroad Musical Theater training program called Musical Theater Bavaria, or MTB. The week of Thanksgiving I was informed that they would love for me to attend the program for the Summer of 2014! The program runs from July 1st-August 1st, during which I would stay in a Bavarian hotel rented out for the students in the program, two meals a day are provided, and of course we get to train with professional Musical Theater and Opera teachers and performers from around the world. This program will provide me with an international understanding of the theater arts and a conservatory style training in voice, dance, and acting. The tuition for the summer program, set at $5,995.00 encompasses the housing, two meals a day, weekend excursions, performance opportunities in local performance venues, and the experience of a life-time to study abroad in a European country. I need your help raising the near $6000.00 dollars for the tuition. They do give out scholarships that are need based to a select number of students however the scholarships offered almost always only cover up to 1/3 of the tuition. So if I am awarded scholarships from the program my tuition will likely end up at $4000 out-of-pocket (not to mention booking international round trip flights). I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer because every penny counts. Please help me to make my dream of attending Musical Theater Bavaria a reality!
