Flood the Campbells with Love

Sabrina Campbell is one of the best people I know. She never hesitates to help someone in need, and she's always the first to defend a friend or offer a hug. She loves with a fierceness and loyalty that is beyond inspirational. I met her as a sophomore at The Ohio State University. We were in Women's Glee Club together. She was sitting in front of me, and at the end of that first class, she said, "You have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. We're going to be best friends."

And we have been. For over fifteen years.

On Tuesday, August 12th, her hometown of Alexandria, Virginia was hit with torrential rainfall. At BWI alone, they recorded over 3 inches of water.. and it was still falling at that point. Sabrina watched in horror as the creek in her backyard began spilling over its banks. Before long, it was up to her house and rushing into her basement.

The deductible for their insurance will cost $5,000. With three children, two extremely busy bakeries, and a husband and Father who is often away from home trying to make ends meet, this awesome family needs our help. Shelly Beaty and I (another OSU School of Music alum and good friend), are happy to provide this opportunity to do so. Any and all donations will be sent to the Campbells.
