Family Fire Devastation- Keoke Ct

Hi,
My name is Mo McElroy and I live in Sonoma County where the fires are ravaging my community. For the last 15 years I have been part of the fabric of the tourism community here. Sitting here with a broken heart as my friends homes burn down has been devastating so I decided to do something about this ( along with my compassionate friends Kirsten + Matt Costello) for my friends on Keoke Court.
Never in a million years could we imagine that one day the children would be jumping on the big neighborhood trampoline and chasing the dogs and a few hours later the would be woken from a peaceful sleep to to run for their lives. This happened to our friends in the most devastated neighborhood in Coffey Park in Santa Rosa, ground zero for the historic Northern California Fires.
A few families reunited to share stories, grief, shock and hugs. 5 trucks in a parking lot represented everything they now own; a handful of clothing, the family dog, a phone or two and one another. Anxiety is running through the parents and the children who are concerned they will find their legos and their lost homework.
We realize there are so many other families that are displaced but we are focusing on 5 families.
Please help these families rebuild so their children can continue to grow up together and feel the safety, resilience and lightness of heart that comes from living in a beautiful childhood home with their loving parents. (The Olgesby, Love, Newman, Maikranz & Carey families)
Everyone can help! Money you donate will go directly into the bank accounts of the family fund and will be distributed amongst these families. $10,000 per family will make a huge difference. The Oglesby family has been designated to distribute the funds equally amongst the five families.
They will use the funds to relieve these emergency situations they now face: downpayments on temporary housing, replacing their vehicles (most families jumped in one to escape together and left the other behind), insurance deductibles, household goods, their children's needs.
The more we give, the faster they can rebuild. They are currently sleeping on couches, packed into spare bedrooms with friends and relatives and still having to pay mortgages on houses that no longer exist.
