The Bartley Startup Fund

On January 23rd, friends and family will join us for our reception. But, as all of you know, we aren't "normal" people. Instead of the typical kitchen gadgets and housewares to start our lives together, Brandi and I are just requesting a startup donation.
Anything helps us! We appreciate everything you guys have done for us, and are so happy you're in our lives.
If you don't really know too much about Brandi and myself, let me tell you about how we came to know each other:
Brandi and I met in 2008 because we played for Union High School's soccer team together, but on January 14, 2010, we decided to make things official. On January 14, 2016, on our 6 YEAR (wow) anniversary, we will be officially married! :)
Throughout our relationship, Brandi and I have completed our collegiate goals many miles apart. Brandi just finished up her bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma and will be serving as an active duty transportation officer with the United States Army. I just finished my MBA from Oklahoma State University, after receiving my bachelor's degree in Business Management from Northeastern State University in December 2013.
So, that brings me to the next topic: the military life! In March, Brandi will be moving to Virginia for 4 months (I'm going to be so sad...) where she will be training for the transportation branch of the Army. After training, she will come home, pack us up, and we will be moving to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO (as I mentioned before). This is a new experience for both of us, as we are not "military brats". We are both excited about the move, and the new experiences that are going to be had as we start our married life together.
You also might notice that there isn't much time between the wedding reception and when she leaves for training...which means we probably won't get the chance to take a honeymoon because we will probably be too busy moving our stuff around!
Which brings me to why we decided to do a GoFundMe... We believe that the best thing for us, at this point in our lives, is to have the means to move from state to state, to enjoy each other's company, and to get settled into our new home.
We are so grateful of our friends and family in our lives, and we look forward to what's to come in these next few chapters of our lives with all of you.
