Recently I moved to the charming city of Barcelona, Spain.
Upon my extensive and sometimes discouraging search for a new place, the universe decided in a whirlwind of sorts to place my long time dream into my hands. A large store front commercial space that will finally allow me to have the studio & gallery space I have always dreamed of. I had to run with this special opportunity and I'm very excited I did. This has been a big undertaking for me, I have made a lot of wonderful progress and improvements as you will see in the before/after pictures, but there is more to be done in order to reach its full potential.
A little about me
I am a internationally renowned fine artist and body painter with a portfolio that expands over decades and continents. My fine art has been a constant presence on television shows, throughout media companies and through private agencies. My body art and my vibrant personality have made me a regular on talk shows, news programs and live events around the world for three decades. My Pink charity events have raised thousands of dollars for breast cancer support. My next project is to host my own gallery space displaying my latest works, past series’ and to create a meeting point where the young arts society in Barcelona can meet with my international arts contacts.

Studio & Gallery Objectives
The Gallery will showcase my personal works of fine art and bodypaintings. In addition the mission of the gallery will be to recognize, promote and exhibit all levels of local and international artists and mediums. It will hold a permanent and rotating gallery of bodypainting works, making it the first gallery dedicated to the art of bodypainting in Spain and Europe. The space will also be home to iocoBenefits and also function as a studio for photographers and workshop space for bodypainters and makeup artist alike. The gallery will become a connection point for the international body art community in Spain with collaborative projects and events. The space is approximately 180. Sq,M with 6. Sq,M ceilings. 2000 sq. F with 20 F, ceilings. It has 2 main gallery rooms, wall space, kitchen, full bathroom, changing room and two outdoor patios. Its has a stunning combination of antique structures and modern design with beautiful feature walls, old brick and layered plastering.
Location
The new gallery is located in El Poblenou, one street over from the Rambla del Poblenou and 300 meters from the famous Mar Bella Beach. This area has become one of the most genuine and prolific metropolitan scenarios of Barcelona City.
In recent years, a series of creative hubs have found their home in Poblenou, cultural and commercial spaces that offer similar innovative proposals, becoming part of the neighborhood’s future without giving up its industrial past. To the mission of the neighborhood’s normalization, the work of the entrepreneurs has been added, raising the area’s value and adding it to the map of alternative cultural circuits.
Rambla del Poblenou This street has always been the hub of the Poblenou's cultural, social, artistic and retail life. It is a pedestrian trees only lined with shops, bars, restaurants, benches, trees and out door cafe seating. It is enriched with a mixture of traditional and modern architecture which leads you to Poblenou Park and the famous Mar Bella Beach.
Funding & Support
This location is the perfect place for me to finally set my roots and create the gallery to honor my life works.
I would be honored if you would help in the start up stages of the galleries life. For this space to reach it full potential it will need some small structural adjustments and additions as well as the costs of creating advertising materials and merchandising.
