#FilipinoFood4NHS is back: we are fundraising to provide free Filipino meals for NHS staff. As with 2020, any funds raised over the target will enable us to expand the project across the UK. A £20 donation will enable us to prepare and deliver 10 Filipino meals for NHS staff. We have the volunteers - Filipino Food UK members <a href="https://www.instagram.com/baboyclub/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Baboy Club</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/theadobros/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Adobros</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sarap_baon/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SARAP</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lutolondon/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Luto</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/turoturouk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Turo Turo</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/naimaslondon/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Naimas</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pinocandy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pinocandy,</a> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/foodwithmae/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Food with Mae</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cookingwithmamaz/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mama Z</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ronib_kitchen/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Roni B's Kitchen</a> are ready to cook the meals, which are to be distributed by the charity <a href="https://www.kanlungan.org.uk/?page_id=756" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kanlungan Filipino Consortium</a>  - now we just need the funds to cover food and supplies.   ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT #FilipinoFood4NHS: Filipinos are the third largest nationality employed by the NHS, with over 40,000 Pinoy members of staff, according to the Nursing Times. #FilipinoFood4NHS is run by volunteers from the Filipino Food UK community and the charity Kanlungan. It is open to all NHS staff and we serve Filipino favourites like adobo, ginataang hipon, chicken inasal, pancit, cassava cake and more. <a href="http://gf.me/u/xvp6wr" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Many thanks to everyone who donated last year</a>: together we raised nearly £5,000 and cooked over 2,500 meals for NHS staff in London, Manchester and Surrey during the first lockdown in 2020. Thank you to @FilipinoFoodUK for providing meals: The Adobros, Baboy Club, Food with Mae, LUTO, Roni B, SARAP, Chef Rachel Stockley, Mama Z and London Filipino.
