<div>Today, we introduce you to Emma, my mom, a brave woman who is fighting against an extremely rare type of cancer: Malignant Phyllodes (Mesenchymal Neoplasm). She has already undergone a surgery removing the largest tumor. However, a chest CT scan revealed nodules in both lungs, indicating that the cancer has metastasized. Unfortunately, Emma does not have medical insurance. The treatment she has received so far has been at FUCAM (Breast Cancer Foundation in Mexico City), where the first surgery was performed. FUCAM is an institution that provides support to make these treatments a reality for their patients.

<div>Emma faces a difficult and costly journey. To date, the oncologists have presented us with options including lung surgery to perform a metastasectomy, followed by sessions of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy, and monitoring studies. All of this treatment is crucial for her battle against this disease. However, some of these options are not available at FUCAM, making the financial situation an enormous challenge.

<div>We, as her community, have the power to make a real difference in the lives of Emma and her family. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to ensuring she receives the treatment she needs. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the treatment expenses, specifically for the lung surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and ongoing monitoring studies. This will provide our family with the necessary support to overcome this challenging situation without the overwhelming worry of medical costs.

<div>Hoy les presentamos a Emma, una mujer valiente que está luchando contra un tipo de cáncer extremadamente poco común: Phylloides Maligno (Neoplasia Mesenquimal). Ya se sometió a una cirugía removiendo el tumor más grande de forma quirúrgica. Sin embargo, en una tomografía torácica se encontraron nódulos en ambos pulmones, lo que significa que el cáncer ya hizo metástasis. Lamentablemente, Emma no cuenta con seguro de gastos médicos mayores. El tratamiento que ha recibido hasta ahora ha sido en el FUCAM (Fundación de Cáncer de Mama), donde se le realizó la primera cirugía. El FUCAM es una institución que ofrece apoyo para que estos tratamientos sean una realidad para sus pacientes.
