Timmy's Story of HOPE & Recovery

On Saturday March 17, 2018 my dear friend Timmy Love was spending his Saturday doing two of the things he loves, browsing through isles of goodies at Webb Road Flea Market and riding his motorcycle. He has just called his wife of almost 22 years to ask her a simple question about what scent she wanted from the Scentsy Vendor before getting on his bike and driving home. As Timmy was leaving the flea market, a car plowed into him. He was thrown from his motorcycle and slid 14-20 feet. Timmy was airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC where he remains today, more than a week later, in a coma ~ I am creating this gofundme because Timmy, Cindy, and Christina have a LONG road ahead of them, a road uncertainty, unanswered questions, anxiety and fear. I cant put into words how humble of a man Timmy Love is. His last name speaks for itself, he loves everyone. I have had the pleasure of growing up with Timmy, our parents raised us in the same neighborhood since we could walk, we have played together, made forts in the woods, spent countless Summers fishing at my Papals place on Lake Norman, playing in the creek behind our homes, its safe to say that we drove our parents crazy in every way possible, but in good clean fun! Timmy is married to his high school sweetheart Cindy Love, of almost 22 years come April 5th. They have a beautiful and SMART daughter named Christina who is the center of their whole World, Christina is a senior at Concord High School and was just awarded the Presidential scholarship to Pfeiffer College, she is active in cheer at her high school and thru Impact Allstars North. Yes, Timmy is a CHEER DAD in every sense of the word!! Everything this man has ever done has been for his family! It's so cliche to say, but he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He has a father in Heaven named Larry and a dear mother still living named Loretta that still lives in that same precious house he was raised in ♡ Him and Cindy both have always been so grounded. They have both worked hard their entire lives, neither afraid to get their hands dirty! To say they are humble is an understatement! Humble : someone who stays in the back ground, never drawing attention to themselves ♡ During my recent 2 year battle with my parents who were both fighting cancer, Timmy and Cindy both never went a week without calling, texting or stopping by my parents house to check on them both. They attended both funerals of my parents and offered tremendous support for me and my family during that time. We have laughed together and cried together over the many years we have all been friends. Our kids attend the same school, Timmy and my husband are at every single game cheering our kids on, it doesnt matter how hot is is outside or how cold, you WILL see Timmy and Cindy there! Their love for this small town over flows! I am creating this page not only to gain support financially for the Love family, but also to show Cindy and Timmy that this community that they both love so much, loves them right back! Cindy is trying SO very hard to have hope, she hasnt left his side but ONCE in over a week to run home and shower and gather more clothes. Her and her daughter have been sleeping in a waiting room in that hospital every single night, with family taking turns, staying with them so they arent alone. Her faith in God is HUGE but her heart and spirit are COMPLETLY broken and shattered My hope is that the doctors are wrong and Timmy will make a full recovery, that he WILL walk out of that hospital and that he will be there in June when his daughter walks across that stage to receive her high school diploma! God has moved mountains and we are laying it all at his feet. Please lift the Love family up in prayer. If you can donate, please do, NO AMOUNT is too small.
