Federal Halfway House Cain Rd Fayetteville NC

As some of you may know, We have been trying to stop a 14,338 sqft 100+ Bed Federal Facility from being built at 910-905 Cain Rd since February 2020. This Facility will be ran by a Third party company named DISMAS Charities Inc. DISMAS is awarded million dollar contracts by the Federal BOP to do so. Three sides of the facilty will be residential properties. Cain Rd is not the location for this large facility. DISMAS was denied a SUP on February 24th. Since then, I had to retain an attorney from Raleigh, Mr. Ben Kuhn.The case is now at the Raleigh Court of Appeals. I need to continue to raise funds for Attorney Fees. While this court battle continue, I am also asking the Fayetteville City Council to create an ordinance that defines the term Halfway House and create stronger Zoning laws.
