"Your mom has lung cancer"..... Just hearing those words was shock enough the week before Christmas but to hear your mom say that she is scared and worried about bills is equally as heart wrenching.
Now don't get me wrong, my parents have insurance but like most of us already know, just having the coverage does not make up for lost wages and does not pay all of the bills. I can only imagine there will be treatments and medications that are not covered.
My mother, 54 years old, is a strong person and has always been there for my brothers and I through the thick and thin. Now it's her turn to be cared for and provided with the same comfort and peace of mind she provided for us through the years.
We thank you for your donations to help my mother focus on fighting this cancer, rather than carry the financial burden.
