Fathers dream to get son to Loretta's

My husband Marc was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at the age of 40. It has spread throughout his body. He found out when the pain in his back got so bad. He thought he had kidney stones. They found that his red blood cell count was extremely low so they had him go in for a colonoscopy. They found a mass in his colon. The pain was so bad that he was unable to walk without a walker to get around. He had to go on disability until the pain is better and he is able to walk without the walker. They did a MRI and PET scan to see where the cancer had spread. He has it in both hips, chest, spine, esophagus, and left kidney. He will have a stint put into his kidney next week followed by a pump for the chemotherapy. He will be starting chemo next week. The doctors were shocked because there is no family history of colon cancer and to be 40 and have it just didn't make sense. We are fighters in this family and will do everything we can to help him beat this. The power of positive thinking and laughter is what will get us through. We are a very close knit family. We have been in the motocross community for over 10 years because my son Troy races. He is a top 10 amateur racer and races in the A class. He has made it to the biggest amateur national at Loretta Lynn's again this year. With the medical bills it will be hard to get him there this year if we don't ask for help. We are not a family that likes to ask for help, but would rather help others. This time we need help. It is so important to my husband Marc to make sure his son goes, that we are asking. The money would help him get to Loretta's, as well as help cover some of the medical costs we have. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
