This GoFundMe page is for our son, Faron Duke. He was born in late September with a pretty extensive list of developmental issues. He's been in the NICU since he was born, and will be in and out of hospitals until we get done what surgery can do. After that, he'll need to be enrolled in a special needs program, and will most likely need several different types of therapy to help him learn and grow on target.

Here's the basics:
Faron suffers from congenital heart disease, he has a double outlet right ventricle and a pretty large hole in his heart. His respiratory rate is about double what it should be because he gets too much oxygen to his lungs, this makes it hard for him to gain weight because he burns through calories. His heart is our #1 concern right now.He has a Mega Cisterna Magna in his cerebellum. We're not sure yet how this will affect him.
There are two chromosome disorders we're trying to figure out. He has a partial 5th trisomy, and a deletion in one short arm of his 18th. We're expecting learning disabilities at the least, possibly some physical as well, and to what extent, we just have to wait and see.
He has some hearing loss, and a keyhole in his left eye. His head is considered "lemon shaped" and the vertical seam of his forehead is fused. His left kidney is displaced, and he may be missing one of his corotid arteries.
**I sat our monetary goal MUCH higher than what I'm ever expecting to have donated, just because his medical bills will be ongoing for as long as we can imagine.**
