What Families 4 Christmas is all about & Who we are.
Families 4 Christmas, started as a group of families that joined together back in 2004, with the expressed purpose of helping others in need, while teaching our own families and children the importance of giving and helping others. Our shared principle belief is that that "giving" is the spirit of Christmas. This spirit has largely been lost but we can do something about it by exposing our children to the joy of giving.
That first year, we were able to help many families and since then the organization has grown. What started out as an informal group of families that shared the same values has now been formalized into a non-profit 501c3 organization. The 501c3 status helps us expand our mission at a time of extreme economic hardship. This year, we will again be providing Christmas Dinner for families that are in need, as well as providing enough food for the entire Christmas week. We are also contributing a modest gift for each child, from each family that we are blessed to help. This is a community based organization where the volunteer families together, shop, wrap, organize and deliver to each recipient family.
We ask that you donate, whatever you can so that we may help as many of our local families and neighbors as possible. No amount is too small or too large for that matter. We suggest any denomination, From $10.00 to $20,000.00. We have calculated what it would cost per family of 4. That figure is $400.00. Its easy to do.
