Fall 2018 Senegal Vision Trip

God has gifted me with a compassionate heart and a passion for seeing freedom through Jesus' Name for all people! During this next season, I would like to explore ministry to the talibe boys of Dakar, Senegal this October.
I have been asked to consider being the liaison between the US organization that provides finances and the local Senegalese church that runs this talibe ministry.
These boys, aged 5-15, are, under the guise of religious education, forced to beg on the streets and abused. The local church has created an after-school program where the boys have clean water to shower and wash clothes, and where they can enjoy food and fun.
During my October vision trip, I would like to see the talibe ministry and discuss the ministry with organizational leadership. I hope to gain further clarity as to whether I should pursue this position long-term. And, while in Senegal, I hope to make a quick visit to my “home” village!
Any donations received before September 15 would cover travel expenses for this vision trip, and any funds beyond the goal will go towards my future ministry opportunities. Thank you for prayerfully considering how you can partner in ministering to these sweet boys. <3
