From March 28-April 3, 2015 our team of 17 people from Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church will be traveling under the direction of Reach Global Crisis Response to Gressier, Haiti.
Gressier, Haiti is a suburb of Port-au-Prince with a population of approximately 25,000. As you may remember, the nation of Haiti was devastated in January 2010 by a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake. This earthquake killed over 200,000 people and left more than 1.5million homeless. Over 50% of the buildings in Gressier were destroyed, most of these were homes. Haiti is still in a state of repair and rebuilding. On our trip, there are several projects and communities that we serve. From working construction at an orphanage, to assisting at the health clinics, we work to make certain that our time in Haiti is meaningful and impactful.
We would love for you to be a part of our support team. First, you can help support our team in prayer as we prepare for our trip, our travel, safety in our work and that our ministry will be productive. Another way to help is to join in partnership with us financially. Through this site, we intend to gain financial support toward our mission. Any and all contributions you can give would benefit our team greatly and would be a blessing to our team.
