Medical Mission Trip to Belize

Hi, my name is Faith and I have been invited to serve and volunteer in Belize, Central America, on a medical mission trip. I am 15 years old and I am so excited to experience another culture and meet the people of Belize.

We will be partnering with the Belize Red Cross and hosting a CPR/First-Aid training for staff from the local hospital. The team has been asked to host multiple health fairs in different villages where we will check patient's blood pressure and blood sugar and provide health education. I will also be going to an orphanage, King's Children's Home, to play and hang out with tons of kids! Lastly, we will be going on home visits in ruaral villages to visit patients that cannot make it to the village clinic. 

I am needing to raise a total of $1900 by October 27th. I am needing $1,100 by October 7th to secure my plane ticket. 

I will be traveling with a family friend who owns and opporates Hummingbird Medical Resources in Milton, Wa. We get to bring medical supplies and medical equiptment when we travel to Belize and donate the supplies to local medical businesses and the Belize Red Cross. 

Lives will be changed through this trip, mine included. I know people that go and serve selflessly are forever changed. By you supporting my trip, you are investing in my future dream of being a pediatrician and also building my character and stretching me and growing me in ways I could not experience unless I go.
