Through sheer faith, diligence, and prayer, the Focused and Inspired team have pressed forward to continue the work of cultivating and inpsiring young girls. Your belief in us and God's plan for our work proved to be truly amazing last year. The genorsity of family, friends, and servant leaders made Focuspiration possible last year. God has continued to do wonderous things with the vision. We are moving toward establishing 501 C (3) status as a nonprofit. Wow....God is so amazing!
God continues to grow the vision. I am elated to share with you that this year's event - Focused and Inspired Girls Leadership and Fun Day - which will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014, 10am - 3pm in Darlington, SC.
This year we will host a Leadership and Fun Day to promote self-confidence, spiritual growth, academic and personal excellence. The event will provide girls with specific resources and stratergies to inspire and help focus their talents and energies to create amazing futures for themselves. Additionally, this year Focused and Inpsired Girls would like to provide $1000 book scholarships for 2 high school seniors.
We need your support to make it happen. Please join me in reaching Focused and Inspired Girls' goal of $3500 in order to provide scholarships to 2 deserving young ladies, as well as, to make this event FREE, fun, and memorable for the young ladies.
Focused and Inspired Girls is the result of seeking God's heart. After several months of fasting, praying, and seeking God - FOCUSPIRATION was created. This year's leadership and fun day is the result of pure obedience. Many challenges presented but we continue because we know that this work is not about us. This is much bigger than any of us on the Focused and Inspired team and because we know this we press forward in obedience.
