On Tuesday June 6th, Chad was at a train station in Switzerland on his way to the airport. It was there that his laptop bag which included his laptop, hard drives, footage from the last few months, passport, new earphones, and various charges and electronics were stolen.
Two years ago, Chad gave up his job of 20 years and decided to follow his passion. He has lived primarily off of his life savings, recently selling his part-ownership of his glider in Australia so he could continue supporting himself and his family.
Although he has insurance that will cover some of the loss, there is still much to be paid for out of pocket. Not only does he need to replace everything in his bag, but he also needs a new passport, and to resubmit some of his VISA information which involves more flights and fees.
He also lost an incredible amount of footage because he has not been able to afford a hard drive to store the amount of footage he has. His total loss is an estimated 5-6K USD. Chad is the very last person to ask another for help, but the truth is, that it is needed for him to continue.
Without these valuable tools, he is unable to make videos, and do much of his work - things that all of you have, and do enjoy watching. We want to make sure that he has what he needs to keep going, with as little interuption as possible. Please consider giving any amount to help support Chad. Every bit counts, and is much appreciated. Thank you all for taking the time, and for your support.
