2014 haiti mission trip

I am one of 13 individuals from our church (First Christian) that have committed to attend a mission trip to Port-de-Piax, Haiti in May. We will be working/helping/spreading God's love with an established missions organization and the English-immersion school they established for Haitian children. Our trip is estimated around $1700 for each person, we are also doing fundraisers in our "small" town to help achieve our "big" goal of $15,000. This will be my first "overseas" mission trip. Not only has God placed it in MY heart to be a part of this opportunity, but I have complete trust and faith that HE will provide as well. The reason I have extended my "goal" amount is to be able to take any extra supplies the organization/missionaries/students need that aren't readily available to them.
