Ethan is our 10yr old boy who is suffering from an as yet undiagnosed rare Neuro Degenerative condition.
In short, in 1year he has gone from a perfectly healthy little boy to one who can barely see - his vision is down to very central only - he will quite possibly lose it altogether. He has tremors, seizures, drop attacks, memory loss, countless trips/stumbles and falls every day.
He has undergone countless tests, scans, and MRI's to no avail. Yet through all of these Ethan has remained stoic - his favourite saying is... 'you just got to get on with it Mum'.
We have been told to make the best of the next few years as no one can tell us what the future holds for him.
In just this last year we have seen a massive difference not only in his physical and mental abilities but in his confidence too. This is heart breaking for us, as parents our job is to protect our children but sometimes things are taken out of your hands and you have to make the best of what you have.
This is why we are trying to make as many of his wishes come true. Ethan has put together a list which includes Swimming with Dolphins in Mexico, A Slumber Party for his Friends, To watch England play at Wembly, A Theatre Show etc....If you can help us, no matter how small - it would mean the world to us... and to him.
