November 6, 2014 was supposed to be one of the best days of my best friends' lives, the date of the birth of their first child. The day that every couple looks forward to since the day they are married. The day that every woman and man look forward to becoming a parent. The day that every family continues on their legacy. With much sadness, I must share that on November 5, 2014 those dreams were met with unfortunate tragedy.
On that day my friends Kevin and Michelle Larkin lost their baby, Ethan Joseph Larkin, just one day before he was to be brought into this world.
This date, which was so close and highly anticipated by all that know the Larkins, has been forever changed with unimaginable grief, loss, and sadness for their family.
As every parent looks forward to holding their child for the first time, for the Larkins this would also be their last time. The loss of a child is not something anyone should ever have to experience. Kevin and Michelle and their families are perservering with strength, grace, and love at this difficult time, and they will continue to live their lives in love as a tribute to their son and angel Ethan Joseph.
As they begin to heal and process their grief, I am asking that we come together to help the Larkins at their time of need. Please support them today with a donation to help the Larkin Family. Contributions will be donted to assist in renovations and development of the infant cemetary where Ethan will be buried at St. John Cemetary in Lancaster, MA at the request of his parents.
