Wheelchair Accessible Van for Ethan
Need a higher purpose this Christmas season? We invite you to help out a single parent and her disabled 13-year old son, Ethan. Ethan was born with a severe disability similar to cerebral palsy and is unable to walk, talk, chew or take care of himself in any manner. He requires assistance in all of his daily activities. Ethan is wheelchair bound and attends a special class at the local Junior High School in Lewiston, Idaho. His only mode of transportation for getting to school and around town is having his Mom drive him in their 17 year old van. They must also periodically travel out of town to various medical appointments.
Their current van is fading fast due to numerous mechanical problems that continue to be too costly to repair. On many occasions, this van has left Ethan and his mom stranded. Ethan and his mom deserve the peace of mind knowing they have a safe and reliable van.
We are committed to helping this family replace their broken-down 1997 GMC van with a wheelchair accessible van equipped with a ramp. For this, we need your help to raise the funds for another, much newer van! Thank you in advance for anything you can do to support this family and their quest to find reliable transportation...we can collectively make a difference by making life a little easier for them.
