House Destroyed in Devastating Fire

Donation protected

My brother Ernie lost his home in the devastating Tubbs fire. He went to bed late Sunday night. He received no warning that the fire was heading towards his home. At 2:20 A.M. his dogs woke him up, and Sabrina started barking, she is a smart dog and very alert and knows when something is wrong, so natually she wanted him to check things out. He told me he was so tired that if his dogs didn't wake him up he may not have woken up at all.  He never had kids so these dogs mean everything to him and they are his family.
Please help with any donation you can. Aything helps.

Ernie bought his Santa Rosa home 11 years ago and still has to make payments it; a home that is now a pile of rubbish. He has lived in the neighborhood for about 20 years.

Ernie is just happy to be alive and that his dogs are ok. He said "You can replace things but lives are most important" He is not the type of person to ask for things but now he is in a time of need. I am so devasated and sad about these fires in Northern California and I am happy that my brother is ok. I used to go visit him in the summers in Santa Rosa when I was a kid and just can't belive that his whole neighborhood is gone.
My brother lost everything in the fire, all he was left with was the clothes on his back, his dogs, and his truck. He lost his cars, all 4 of his dirt bikes, and all of his tools. As well as so many other things. Even my grandfathers engraved ring that is irreplacable. He even had money in the house that burned straight to ashes.

My brother has had this  land cruiser for 20 years and he did a complete rebuild on it.

This is what is left of his tools.
This is what's left of his neighborhood.
My name is Barbara Chapman and I made this on behalf of my brother Ernie Chapman. He lived in the Coffey Park neighborhood in Santa Rosa. The funds will be used to help him get things he needs such as food, blankets, dog food, etc/
